Michelle Rideout created the painting, "Curious Cows," after visiting the Windy Hill Farm of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Sensing of Brentwood, TN. She grew up near her wonderful grandmother Eugenia, who loved her cows so much that she would walk among them and talk to her "pets" as she called them. Rideout's visit to the Windy Hill Farm brought back memories of her grandmother's farm near Mississippi State University. Owing to her love of animals throughout her youth and young adulthood, the painter today loves to paint "all creatures great and small," including her own cat, Summer, and her Sadie, who is now in doggie heaven.
